This 3.66GHz Xeon MP processor upgrade features a 667MHz front side bus. The xSeries x366 server will be using Intel's next-generation processor platform. This rich stable of technology improvements addresses the requirements of today's data-hungry systems and software that crave performance. These software applications range from financial and scientific modeling to visualization and data base retrieval. These applications are also enhanced with the new Intel Extended Memory 64 Technology that provides headroom support for future growth. This advanced Intel Xeon MP processor contains a 1MB L2 memory cache that reduces or even eliminates system bottlenecks by balancing performance between the processor, I/O and memory. |
