The 105SL is a bar code printer that can use either thermal transfer or direct thermal printing. It is made with a rugged all-metal reinforced box section enclosure for maximum durability in industrial work environments. It is sophisticated and versatile, yet easy to use. Zebra Programming Language ( ZPL) simplifies label formatting and enables seamless compatibility with other Zebra printers. It supports user-defined fonts and graphics, including custom logos, and ZPL drawing commands.You can print a maximum area of 4.09" width, and 106" length (with 203 dpi). You can also print 65" length with 300 dpi. Maximum print speeds are 6" per second at 152/203 dpi, and 4" per second at 300 dpi. The 105SL comes with 4 MB DRAM. It handles labels and liners from 0.79" to 4.52" wide, and ribbons from 0.79" to 5.31" wide. The ribbon is recommended to be at least as wide as the media, and must be wound ink side out.
